BigHeart Platform for Sharing Knowledge and Building Community Networks

Our client, BigHeart Ventures, has initiated the development of its digital product, the BigHeart Platform. This platform interconnects various trusted organizations and entities to empower communities and promote equity through meaningful engagement and collaboration.

The client had previously engaged another technology provider to develop their product. However, this provider proved incapable of meeting all of the client's requirements in terms of capacity and technology. As a result, the client needed to find a new tech partner who could redesign and recode the platform and help define a new vision for the product and its overall architecture. The client sought a stable partner capable of handling everything from product specification, comprehensive design, and development to support, maintenance, infrastructure management, data security, etc.



After evaluating numerous companies, the client ultimately chose us. We demonstrated our expertise, extensive technological knowledge, and a deep understanding of the principles of digital product development, convincing the client that we were the right choice for continuing the product's creation and addressing all their needs.

The BigHeart platform empowers its members to communicate effectively, create various types of content, and share their activities and events with others. It also supports organizing video conferences for groups ranging from one-on-one sessions to thousands of participants.

It serves as a robust virtual group system designed to enhance social outcomes and connect communities. By transforming traditional, in-person programs into virtual support groups, it brings proven programs, services, and support networks online, allowing trusted organizations to efficiently form new human connections, share knowledge, and encourage lasting behaviors that uplift more people to better health, work, wages, wealth, and opportunity.

After taking over the project, our first step was to ensure comprehensive maintenance of the existing system built on Ruby on Rails technology. Subsequently, we actively started working on modernizing existing features and developing new system components. The goal was to optimize the platform's functionality, fine-tuning its core and secondary features, and enabling users to quickly navigate and effectively work with it. We also embarked on creating a new UX/UI design for both web and mobile applications, reflecting a modern look and intuitive controls for both patients and providers.

For our client, we provide a fully managed dedicated team that creates, designs, and drives product development. We maintain a strong and ongoing partnership with the client, engaging in regular and collaborative interactions. Jointly, we contribute to outlining the complete product scope and determining its technical trajectory. 

We prioritize the quality of our outputs, but equally important to us is the entire collaboration process with the client. In this case, it is particularly crucial as it involves a large project where we fine-tune our processes and management to the smallest detail, ensuring seamless operation and a fully efficient workflow.

The platform was used by more than 500,000 members over the past year, who participated in various programs and webinars, shared their knowledge, and communicated with each other. Regularly, we gather feedback from them and, in collaboration with the client, incorporate it to improve the platform to the complete satisfaction of users.
